This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase from our website and related services (the "Site").

We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with a particular person ("Personal Information"). The types of information we collect depend on how you interact with us.

A. Device & Usage Data (collected automatically)

  • How: cookies, pixels/web beacons, tags, log files, SDKs.

  • Why: to load and secure the Site, analytics, performance, debugging, and personalization.

B. Order & Account Information (provided by you)

  • Examples: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone number, items purchased, payment method details (tokenized by our processor), order notes, tax/VAT info as applicable.

  • Why: to process and fulfill orders, returns, refunds; provide invoices and confirmations; communicate about your order; fraud prevention.

C. Payments

  • Collected by: our payments providers (e.g., Shopify Payments/Stripe, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal). We do not store full credit card numbers on our systems.

D. Customer Support & Communications

  • Examples: emails, chat or SMS content, call/text metadata, attachments you send, contact preferences.

  • Why: to provide support, investigate issues, and improve services.

E. Marketing & Preferences

  • Examples: email/SMS subscription status, marketing campaign interactions, preferences.

  • Why: to send updates and offers according to your choices and applicable law.

F. Reviews, UGC, and Social

  • Examples: product reviews, Q&A, photos, ratings, social handles if you tag us.

  • Why: to display content you submit and improve products and services.

G. Job/Wholesale Inquiries (if applicable)

  • Examples: employer/role, resale certificates, tax IDs, business contact details.

  • Why: to assess and manage applications or dealer/wholesale accounts.

Sensitive data: We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (e.g., precise geolocation, health, biometric templates) through the Site.

  • Automatically (cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you browse the Site).

  • From service providers and partners (e.g., analytics, ads platforms, shipping/fulfillment, payments, anti‑fraud, marketing tools).


3) Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the storefront, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. Shopify sets certain cookies necessary for the store to work; analytics/advertising tools may set additional cookies.

Examples of cookies used by Shopify include: _secure_session_id, cart, checkout_token, shopify_pay, secure_customer_sig, _shopify_y, _y, and others required for storefront, checkout, security, and analytics. Cookie lifetimes generally range from session to two years.

You can manage cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may impact Site functionality. To learn more about online ads and opt‑outs, see Section 6 below.


4) How We Use Personal Information

We use Personal Information to:

  • Operate, maintain, and secure the Site;

  • Provide products/services; process payments; fulfill and deliver orders; manage returns;

  • Communicate with you (order updates, support, service notices);

  • Personalize content and measure the performance of our Site and ads;

  • Detect and prevent fraud and security incidents;

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We share Personal Information with service providers that process it on our behalf for the purposes above. Typical categories include:

  • Payments: Shopify Payments/Stripe, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal.

  • Shipping & fulfillment: carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS; and fulfillment apps/services (e.g., ShipStation) if used.

  • Customer communications & support: email/SMS and helpdesk tools (e.g., Klaviyo for email/SMS marketing, Shopify Inbox or similar).

  • Analytics & advertising: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixel, and similar platforms used to understand performance and show relevant ads.

  • Fraud prevention & security: tools built into Shopify and/or third‑party risk services.

  • Professional advisors & legal: auditors, accountants, insurers, law enforcement or regulators where required by law or to protect our rights.

We do not disclose full payment card numbers to SteelDash systems. Payments are handled by the processors named above.


6) Analytics, Advertising, and Your Choices

We use analytics to understand how visitors use our Site and advertising technologies to show relevant ads.

U.S. state privacy laws (including California) define "sale" broadly and add a separate concept of "sharing" for cross‑context behavioral advertising. We do not sell Personal Information for money. We may share Personal Information for targeted advertising as described above. Where required, we provide a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" method. 7) Minors

Our Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children. If you believe a child provided Personal Information, please contact us to request deletion.


8) Retention

We retain Personal Information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy—typically the life of your account/order plus a reasonable period—and as required by law (e.g., tax/accounting records are commonly retained for up to 7 years). We also consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the data and potential risk of harm.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. If we believe the security of your information has been compromised, we will act in accordance with applicable laws.

Your rights depend on where you live. Regardless of location, you may contact us to access, correct, or delete certain Personal Information, or to ask questions.

A. California (CPRA) & Certain U.S. States

If you are a resident of California (and, with variations, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia), you may have rights to:

  • Know/Access categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we collected;

  • Correct inaccurate Personal Information;

  • Delete Personal Information (subject to exceptions);

  • Opt‑out of sale or sharing of Personal Information for targeted advertising;

  • Limit use of sensitive Personal Information (we do not use sensitive PI for additional purposes);

  • Non‑discrimination for exercising your rights.

If you submit a request, we will verify your identity and respond as required by law. You may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf.

B. EEA/UK (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, we process Personal Information under these legal bases, as applicable: consent, contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests (e.g., site operation, fraud prevention, analytics/ads balanced against your rights). You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object (including to profiling/marketing), and data portability. You can withdraw consent at any time.

We may further transfer data to service providers in countries outside your own consistent with applicable law.

11) Automated Decision‑Making

We do not engage in fully automated decision‑making that has legal or similarly significant effects. Our platform provider (Shopify) uses limited automated tools for fraud prevention (e.g., temporary blacklisting of IPs/credit cards associated with suspected fraud).


12) Do Not Track

There is no consistent industry response to web browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) signals. We do not change our data practices when we detect a DNT signal.


13) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date and will be effective when posted. Material changes may be communicated by additional notice.

Appendix: Categories for California

  • Identifiers: name, email, phone, IP address, device identifiers.

  • Customer records: addresses, payment token/last 4 digits (via processor), order history.

  • Commercial information: products viewed/purchased.

  • Internet/electronic activity: browsing history, interactions with the Site/ads.

  • Geolocation: approximate location from IP.

  • Inferences: preferences (e.g., marketing segments) derived from other data.

Disclosures (past 12 months): We disclosed the categories above to service providers for business purposes (hosting, payments, shipping, analytics, advertising, support, security). We did not sell Personal Information for money. We may share identifiers, internet activity, commercial information, and inferences with advertising partners for cross‑context behavioral advertising. Opt‑out methods are provided in Section 6.
